Background

Tropical Guitar is the latest release by one of Key Largo's favorite entertainers, Reggie Paul. Tropical Guitar provides an authentic musical sound of a variety of rhythms including bolero, bossa nova, and calypso.

Tropical Guitar is a compilation of all-time favorite guitar melodies for dancing and easy listening. You can hold your partner and dance or sit back, relax and enjoy Reggie's smooth interpretations of some of your favorites like Johnny & Santos "Sleepwalk", Carlos Santana's "Europa", the Gypsy Kings' "Bamboleo" or Carlos Jobim's "Girl from Ipanema".

This hot new album also features cool, timeless guitar favorites like Bolero-style interpretations of "Magic in the Moonlight", and "Besame Mucho"; Bossa Nova renditions of Carlos Jobim's "Wave", "Girl from Ipanema" and "Theme from Black Orpheaus"; and Rhumba versions of "Begin the Beguine" and "Cuando Sali de Cuba"; plus, Calypso favorite "St. Thomas".  Latin, Caribbean chic....

Reggie Paul is the famed Guyanese singer and guitar player whose smooth, balladeer style has captivated audiences throughout the Caribbean and the US. He has gained a large following in the Florida Keys since making South Miami his home where he also performs weekly at the Key Largo Marriott - Breezers.

Review

Recently my wife was on a business trip to the Florida Keys. She went into the gift shop and purchased your CD -Tropical Guitar for me as a gift. I want to tell you that this is the most beautiful music I have ever heard. It is very soothing to listen to. I can close my eyes and let my troubles float away. Your taste in the selections on this musical masterpiece is just magnificent. One is easily transported to a beautiful paradise through our own imagination and the music also evokes such wonderful memories.

It is obvious that GOD has given you a great gift to produce such beautiful music. It is my wish that you continue to produce many more such musical masterpieces for the world to listen to and enjoy as much as I. I wish you continued success and hope to hear much from you in time to come. May GOD bless you and enrich your life. Warmest Regards; Victor
